Bass Pro Shops puts on some excellent days of fishing. Kids love to catch fish and this young man caught a big fish. Cat fish are abundant in this local pond and the kids love to catch them!

Fishing Class for Kids-There’s nothing like seeing the smile on a kid’s face when they feel that tug on the line and reel in a fish. Doesn’t matter how young or old they are, kids just love to fish! Once a month I take the kids out back behind Bass Pro Shops in Ft. Lauderdale for a couple hours. We provide everything – tackle, bait, and basic training – and the kids do the rest!

Every weekend Bass Pro Shops invites the kids to fish in a lake behind the store and the Islamorda Fish Factory restaurant.
The store provides all the fishing tackle and bait, as well as hands-on training and guidance. Here are some pictures of Captain Brian and the kids having a ball catching all sorts of fish, including a whopper of a catfish (13 lbs) by a girl.
